On Oct. 5-8 I attended the International Spa Convention and Expo in Austin TX. This event is held annually and is a great tool for spa owners, managers and therapist. It is inspiring to know that the spa industry is growing and that people are beginning to understand the importance of spa and over all well being. The convention is educational, offering many classes on how to improve your spa. The Expo had many new products and equipment. You could sample the products and actually receive treatments. Guest speakers included Dr. Murad and Lance Armstrong. I will be implementing the things I learned at ISPA by making the spa at Exclusively Faces softer and more relaxing for the clients we sure. Making them feel more at ease and not intimidated with the word medical. We are also creating a boutique area as you enter the spa with unique gifts for our spa guests and patients.
