There are two cancellation policies that are important to you.

  • As discussed elsewhere there is an initial consult cancellation policy that deals with your credit card. A credit card guarantees your appointment time with Dr. Karen. Your card will not be charged at the time of your visit, it is complimentary. However, if you fail to show and do not cancel/reschedule your appointment within 24 hours your credit card will be charged the standard consultation fee of $150.00.
     
  • By scheduling surgery and paying a 1/3 and/or full payment for your procedure, Dr. Karen states that he will perform said procedure on the date you have selected with the Facial Plastic Coordinator. If you need to change or cancel your surgery within the two weeks prior to your surgery, a nonrefundable fee (20% of surgery and restock charges on anything ordered for your surgery) will be deducted from your refunded amount. If anesthesia is required, 10% of your anesthesia charge will also be deducted from your anesthesia refund. These fees will go to offset the costs incurred by the office in order to reschedule your procedure time.

Extenuating Circumstances

If some extenuating circumstances (death in the family, severe personal illness) occurs, this fee will be waived after approval by the Business Manager.
